New San Francisco Art Gallery in the Russian Hills Area.

Interior Visions on Polk near Vallejo, a Russian Hills landmark since 1993, noted for its quality antique furniture, chandeliers and up-scale decorator items, has expanded its focus on traditional fine art paintings.  The main front room of the gallery now hosts approximately one hundred and fifty framed oil and acrylic paintings of landscapes, still lifes, figurative work, and scenes in and around San Francisco. Interior Visions is displaying the paintings on walls and easels among their inventory of furniture and decorator items.

"It has been a dream of mine to offer quality paintings in an accessible price range for collectors who enjoy works of art in the impressionist and traditional styles", says owner Carol Coleman .  "Our city offers several venues for contemporary artwork but fewer for the styles that many of us still hold dear, that is, paintings that find their origins in French Impressionism,  in Van Gogh and Cezanne, and in traditional realist artists like Vermeer.  These are the styles that fit so well with the period furniture and decorator items we love to offer."

Carol Coleman and partner, Richard Sepulveda, focus their fine art offerings around 21st Century Traditional/Impressionist painters Walter Ayres, Jim Shorba, Cynda Valle and Tom Zephyrs.  Says Ms. Coleman, "We find a beautiful diversity in the works of these mature California artists.  Yet each has a style that compliments the interiors of the homes and offices of those who love decorating in a relaxed traditional style."

Interior Visions' new gallery offers framed paintings in a full range of sizes from miniatures perfect for a small wall in a Victorian home, to grand, large paintings for that special showcase wall, home office or corporate space.
